Looking for More Community Service?
RULES:
- Teens can review 5 books/shows/movies/games per month.
- Each review will be worth 1.0 hour of community service.
- Teens may review any age appropriate TV show, movie, video game or board game, or any YA or adult book they would like. We would prefer that the book, movie, or TV show has been released within the last 12 months, but it is not required.
- Submissions will be reviewed by the Teen Department before community service is awarded. We reserve the right to deny community service credit if we do not find it to be acceptable. We may also ask the reviewer to expand upon the review and resubmit it.
- The review should discuss elements such as how the plot flowed, the writing/visual style, if any elements outweigh the flaws. Also, consider if another book/show/movie/game with a similar premise did a better job of presenting the subject than what is being reviewed, and if so, how.
- The minimum word count for the summary portion of the review is 100 words, and the minimum word count for the review portion is 200 words.
- Reviews must be submitted electronically using the form below.
- Once a submission is reviewed and approved, Community Service Certificates will be emailed.
