NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF FAA FINDINGS OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT / RECORD OF DECISION
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has approved the Environmental Assessment (EA) and issued a Finding of No Significant Impact / Record of Decision (FONSI/ROD) for Stratosphere Development Co. LLC’s Long-Term Development and Use of Five Development Parcels at Republic Airport. A Draft EA was made available for public review and comment from August 1, 2020, through September 15, 2020. The Final EA describes the existing environment and conditions and provides discussion of the impacts of the Proposed Action. The FAA has determined that environmental and other relevant concerns presented by interested agencies and the general public have been addressed in the Final EA. With respect to the Proposed Action, the FAA has determined that the requirements of NEPA and all other applicable federal environmental requirements and Executive Orders have been met.
The FONSI/ROD and Final Environmental Assessment for the Project are available at http://www.republicairport.net. A paper copy of the FONSI/ROD is available for review at the following location:
